Masterstroke (by two of my favorite poets)
A thunderstorm buffets the walls
and tumbles down its fervent rain.
In darkened foyer, empty hall,
a thunderstorm buffets the walls,
resounding savage bacchanal
from tangled bedclothes limned in flame:
a thunderstorm buffets the walls
and tumbles down its fervent rain.
